"Lovely. Fabulous printed velour towels with vibrant colours."

Fiber reactive dyed towels
The reactive print process allows designs to be permanently injected into the fabric.
It is a process where a discharge ink is used to distract the dye from the fabric and replace it with the die in the ink.
The “reaction” process occurs when the ink is heated or steamed from the fabric which sets the dyes and allows for bright vibrant colors.
The major advantage is that the dye penetrates into the terry surface unlike the subliprinted towels whereby the image lies on top of the terry surface.
These towels are made of 100% cotton and can be supplied with or without velour finish.
Minimum order quantities apply from 1.000 units upwards.
Many weights of towels are available to include 380, 400, 450 and 500 gr/m2. More than 12 different sizes exist from 30 x 50 through to
100 x 180 cms.
The production lead times are much longer from 8 weeks.
So if we were to separate the loops on a subli printed towel, you would notice how the print design is lost as the white underbase would begin to show up.
On the other hand, if we were to take a reactive printed towel you would notice how the print design remains intact as the dyes penetrate deep into the terry.
Reactive dye printing is generally more expensive so although this option is the superior of the 2 towel types sometimes the price in not viable for promotions.
